Furthermore, with the Sedins having played much of their career together, this will be a rare look at only seeing one on the ice. Dallas Players to WatchMarty Turco: It will be interesting to see how the longtime Stars netminder plays after a break against the Flames. Turco has been solid so far this season but nothing spectacular. Look for Turco to prove himself as the No. 1 goalie in Dallas with a great performance tonight. Tom Wandell: Filling in for the injured Mike Modano isn't an easy job. Wandell has stepped up to the challenge and played a hard-nosed game in Calgary, recording a goal against the Flames. Loui Eriksson: So far the Stars top scorer from last season has been rather quiet with only one goal in three games. Look for Eriksson to try to break out of the drought tonight.
Ken's Players to Watch: Dallas Stars vs. Vancouver CanucksThe Dallas Stars' last showing against the Calgary Flames was an eye-opening game to the true talent and potential of this club. Taking into consideration the injuries already taken on by the Stars' Jere Lehtinen and Mike Modano, the gaps in the depth were filled very well. Tonight's game in Vancouver serves as another look into what this team is made of heading into the end of their Western Canada road trip. The Vancouver Canucks have struggled out of the gate and can gain some much-needed momentum in the Northwest Division. A win tonight may be the best chance for the Canucks to begin their journey at knocking off the highly talented Calgary Flames; otherwise the Flames could run away with the Division. Additionally, with news breaking of Daniel Sedin's foot injury, which will likely keep him out 4-6 weeks, the Canucks will look to score early and get Dallas on its heels.
James Neal: The sophomore winger is a force to be reckoned with on the ice, and has 3 goals and 1 assist for 4 points to show for it. Look for Neal to fly with lightning speed around the net. Jamie Benn: The Stars rookie winger has played solid hockey in the first three games, but has yet to record a goal. Look for Benn to net his first. Vancouver Players to WatchHenrik Sedin: With the loss of brother Daniel to a foot injury, look for Henrik to sink or swim on his own. Look for Henrik to show Dallas he's capable of scoring without brother-dearest. Roberto Luongo: The ever-talented goaltender will look to steal a victory from a very talented offense tonight. Luongo and the Canucks need the win to start an upward climb in the standings. Willie Mitchell: The 'Nucks top defenseman will need to play like it tonight.
