There doesn’t appear to be any other new injury blows after Friday’s game with Norwich, and it will be fascinated to see whether McAvoy sticks with the 4-4-2 diamond he went with against the Canaries. Swansea sit fourth in the Championship table, so this will be another tough task for North End, but the Swans have now lost their last three games in a row. Steve Cooper’s side lost to struggling Birmingham City on Friday night, and have recently fallen to defeats against Cardiff City and Bournemouth to all but kill off automatic promotion hopes.
Norwich know what it takes to earn promotion from the Championship and will again be one of the favourites to do it again with one of the best squads in the division. It isn't all about the battle for promotion, either, with Wigan, Rotherham and play-off winners Sunderland hoping their ascensions from League One aren't short-lived as they battle to avoid the drop at the bottom.
Frankie McAvoy took charge of his first game as interim head coach on Friday, and he will be buoyed by Brad Potts bagging a last-gasp leveller to secure a point against the league leaders.
